For over 20 years, I’ve helped women eat in a way that helps them regain their energy, retain muscle while releasing excess body fat, and reduce anxiety. I teach clients to fuel their body with real food that actually tastes good and is easy to prepare. My clients get relief from endless sleepless nights and the ensuing fatigue and foggy thinking that follows. They learn simple and effective stress management tools that fit their busy lifestyles. Clients hormones come into balance so they can achieve quality sleep, improved moods, and sustainable weight loss.

ABOUT ME

Kimberly Gwynne, R.D.

I am a Registered Dietitian and a Functional Nutrition Practitioner helping midlife women get to the bottom of health concerns and feel like themselves again.

I find women are often confused during this time of life. They aren’t sure what’s a normal part of changing hormones and what is not?
They’ve tried “everything” – Keto, Whole 30, Noom, Weight Watchers, less calories and more exercise, and macro-counting. Some have even done advanced testing and Hormone Replacement therapy and are still not sure what to do to get the results they are looking for. I teach women how to fuel their body with real food that actually tastes good and is easy to prepare.

I teach women which symptoms are common but not necessarily normal during their midlife transition.

They learn simple and sustainable ways to eat, move, and handle stress so that they can regain energy, retain muscle, balance moods and reduce anxiety.

I signed up to work with Kimberly because I wanted to live better not just now but well into my senior years. My parents are in their late 70s/early 80s and their quality of life is poor. My mother’s lost most of her mobility, freedom and lives in pain. My father has dementia and I’m not willing to follow in those footsteps knowing that I can control and change not only my present life but also my future life. I’ve learned that staying healthy is more than just eating well and exercising and that mindset is an equally important aspect of living healthy. I realized skipping meals was affecting my blood sugar balance and was creating more stress on my body and health. My results have been great since working with Kimberly. Even though weight loss wasn’t a first concern I’ve noticed weight loss and a big improvement of feeling bloated in my midsection. I feel like I’ve improved the inflammation in my system. I’m eating more regularly and better balanced, whole foods. Doing both the Dutch Test and the GI Mapping has really been beneficial and allowed Kimberly to really see and know what needs improvement and what is and isn’t working. When I called Kimberly I was uncertain and had no idea what to expect. I am a postmenopausal grandmother and work full time. Staying active and eating healthy didn't seem to provide a benefit. I had given up trying to lose weight and was plagued with a growing list of food allergies. I was frustrated to say the least. Kimberly listened carefully and recommended a GI map test. The test results were very enlightening. It pointed out issues with my gut and how it is not working as intended These issues directly correlated to my symptoms. One thing I learned is that acid reflux medicine should not be taken long term. I had been taking it for years. Most doctors treat symptoms but don't always look for the underlying problems. Kimberly suggested dietary changes and natural supplements to help my gut work the way it is intended. I have seen noticeable improvements and lost 8 pounds over a few weeks with no diet. Kimberly also emphasized how stress factors into your health. Not new information but I definitely needed the push to work harder on stress coping skills. It is still up and down but I will continue with Kimberly as part of my plan to age well and stay active and healthy.
